Haha.. For those who know me well, shld know tt Im a big dessert lover. This is dessert showcase part 2. For the start - First pix is the little cookie bag that Shio San gave me during the show last xmas.. After 6 mths, threats from my dad tt if I dont eat it, he will be, I opened the package with Xiaomei to eat while watching Takarazuka !! SHIYAWASE!!!The next package is Senbei from Takarazuka theatre, Shiho san brought back from Japan and I took one to eat.. They have pixs of flowers on the Senbei.
When Sayuri's Mum came, we went to Marina Mandarin hotel to have dinner. The choices for dessert have so so MUCH!! Im so excited and kept eating the dessert. Believe me, this is jus 1/10 of the range they had tt night!!! The tiramisu is the best!!!!Im looking so fwd to go there again!!! Her mum bought me a box of cakes from Tokyo, Ginza. Its nice!! Theres orange cake, green tea cake, fruit cake etc etc!!! I loved the green tea cake most!!
We went out for a team lunch to Waraku. I had been there many times but had yet to try the dessert coz, Im always too full for dessert. This time round, we left space for dessert and we order the Green tea ice cream and assorted ice cream imported from Japan. Just nice! Not too sweet!!
At times, I liked to go for Savory desserts too. Thai desserts had both sweet and savory. This is at Sabai @Ngee Ann City Shopping Center. They sell authentic Thai dessert prepared for Thai chef! They have buffet for the desserts. One price for all the desserts on the displayed table. 
Its Azlina's Birthday and we prepared a surprise for her.. Wanted to sneak up to her and wish her happy birthday with a mango cake. But jus as we were preparing, she turned around to talk to me and saw us with the cake. All of us went silent a moment b4 saying, YOU SPOIL LA!!!! Like tt no more surprise liao!! Hahaha! All 4 of us kept laughing!!!
Josephine and I went to one new cafe to try out the food for dinner. And it comes as a set with a drink n dessert of the day.
Its mini banana boat ice cream(served in an ice cream bowl..) Hahaha.. Even though Im not a banana boat lover but I quite enjoyed this one.. Maybe coz Im too tired from wk this day n needed somethg sweet to boost my energy.. hahaha!
Its Xiaomei's birthday and of coz, there must have cake to celebrate the day isnt it..
We were out earlier so when choosing cake, I made her choose what she like. She chose a cake tt filled with lots n lots of chocolate from a bakery shop.. YUMMY!!! Chocolates!!!! Good Choice!! Hahaha
Its girls night out for miao n I, so we two went to MOF to have dinner and DESSERT! Well... I chose back my green tea shake... Miao thought she had choosen a new choice, but seems tt, she had mistaken, she ordered back the same ice cream.. Hahaha.. End up we two ate what we had previously missing out other type of dessert..
Sayuri had a craving to try out one bakery at VivoCity b4 she head back Japan. Xun n I happily tag along with her.. We ordered ten disc in total of dessert for our afternoon tea!! When miao met us later, shes amazed by us and of coz, calling us siao to eat so much dessert!! Hahaha!! We had cakes(my tiramisu cake!), ice creams, pies, mooncake. tea, etc!I cant resist them!We finished them all! Dont doubt us!!I have proof! *Grinzzz*

This is sweet potato caramel. Heres how to eat, the chef will coat the hot sweet potato with melted caramel and the moment the dish is served we have to dip the sweet potato at once into the ice water provided so tt the melted caramel will be harden. Its a tough dish and u have to act fast to dip into the water and to avoid ur hands being tangled by the caramel bits... My parents ate this the first time and find tt its a special dish..
Its mooncake festival.. And wat we have for sure? Mooncakes la!!!
There are all sorts of different types of mooncakes.
From the tradition type with or w/o yorks to yam to chocolate, fruits, durian, wine, champagne etc etc.
Amazing isnt it! But I still like tradition ones. The new types are interesting but will get bored after a while.. Oh yup, theres green tea type which I liked too!
Recently Im very much into this chinese dessert, Mango Sago with Pomelo. Its a sweet, cold, yummy dessert. If Im at a chinese rest, I will order this as my finishing touch!

Ive been wanting to stay at hotel for a night to relax.. Alright, I could always do it with 2 nights but too expensive liao. Told my vendor(the managers here) to get me upgrade to a better room.
They got me huge room, high floor, habour view, and gave me complimentary chocolates and fruits.. Cool!!! The bed is so cool, feel like sleeping there forever w/o moving.. hahaha.. The cable TV is good too.. but no cartoon channel.. hahaha...
The view from here is wonderful! At different time of the day I kept taking photos of the view.
Well, always compliment view of other countries, but Singapore's view is good too!
Sayuri was a little late coz her school ends late. So I treat myself to enjoy the room and view! 
Not wanting to waste a good relaxing time at the hotel, Sayuri and I decided to get dinner and some snacks back to the room. Xun came to visit us with his frd(whom a bit shy).. But quite cute...
Hahaha...
Sayuri and I kept disturbing Xun, and hes so shy...
Hahhaha!! Did he blush??? hmmmm shhhhhh......
Saw the little blue star thg in Sayuri's hand? Xun got it at NDP and he brought one to give Sayuri as a gift.. Im so jealous not coz he give her present, but coz its Blue star!!! Tts Hoshi gumi's color!! BLUE STAR = Takarazuka Hoshi gumi!!!! I also want!!! Xun say ok ok, he will give me, he got 1 more at home.. HAHAHAHA!!! He visit me at my office and pass to me after tt week.. so sweeeet.
Xun seems to liked our room alot.. Not wanting to leave.. Hahahaha..
But I still dont understand.. The place is so cooling, how could he still sweat so much??!?!?
Soon Xun left with his frd for dinner... Sayuri n I finished our dinner and continue to do nothing in the room but lazed around.
Its too nice to do anything.. So do nothing lor!!!
But a bit too bored also... and feeling full.. so we went out for a short walk, and half way, we met Xun n his frd again!!! We two gossip bot them again.. Hahahaha!!
Continue to laze around in the room and taking more photos around after a good bath..

But soon its 3pm.. Got to check out.. Im so so reluctant to go off!!! Its one of the comfortable tt I would loved to be....
But well, thanks to Sayuri, if its not her, I dont think I will get a chance to relax here.. Coz she had told me that she would want to try this hotel... And of coz, Ive always wanted to try too..
Sayuri chan told me she would like to visit Singapore Art museum. I hadnt been there for nearly 10 yrs. So thought its a good idea to go. To align with National Day, the Art Museum displays works from Singapore and Asean.
Its quite interesting and hermmmm a bit strange, hows some are being considered as Art piece.. Well Im quite bad at Art actually. Recalling back in Sec School, I always get no more than 59 for my Art. Hahahaha...
They have a drawing corner for kids to draw freely on the board. Big kids, Sayuri chan n I started picking up crayons and drew.
Can up make up wat had I drawn? Hahaha.. I wrote Takarazuka with the 5 gumi, Hana(flower), Tsuki(Moon), Yuki(Snow), Hoshi(Star) and Sora(Solar).

She drew Pocky. The anime character which she quite into it..
Maybe this is one of the best part I enjoyed for this trip.

Next we saw theres a chair and a drawing board with water color to paint. Sayuri and I took turn to paint.. Nice pix?? You believe we drew?? hahaha of coz not la... Its was painted already. We just took photos with it for fun.
Im looking for a present for my friend(not wan to say name.. wait she know).
After the Museum trip, we went to Suntec to find. I saw the make your own bear shop and I was thinking should I buy one or not. But after playing around with the bear costumes, Im so hanged to it then I decide to get one for her. After stuffing the cotton into the bear, have to give the bear a "shower". Its to blow and brush the bear to make sure they get a shiny suit of fur.
This is the end product of my bear... I wanted to call it Takarazuka bear, but cant la... So I name it after the birthday girl.
I chose a ballet dress with little cute shoes.
And I chose extra thing for this bear bear, a pair of wings!!
This reminds me of Ichiro maki at her Grand finale at Elisabeth show.. Hahaha...
My sister booked a table at Pan Pacific hotel, Hai Tien Lo. Why? Coz
theres fireworks today and my mum had been wanting badly to watch live.
So my sis n I were talking about going to a restaurant to eat and could
watch it at comfort level.
As theres no more seat left, facing the Marina bay, so we were seated at another side(the restaurant is a round concept). The waitress told us that when the fireworks start, we could go to the other side and watch. The guests had already been informed.
Its 8pm. We shall start our dinner first.
We ordered a few dishes and to be honest, they are quite nice(though quite expensive.... oh ok.. my sister treating.. hahaha). I Like the veggies.. Very fresh and crispy.
Its 9pm, but the fireworks had yet to start... Everyone,(not jus us, other guests also) starts to get impatient.... Finally, its 9.20pm (I tik), We heard a Pomm, everyone rush to the corner, that could see the marina bay. So cool!!!!
I used my handphone to record the fireworks.
At last, 15mins ended.. We could have our dessert!!! I like mine!! Ive ordered mango sago.. Its so nice!!!! I loved Sweet sweet dessert.
My dad ordered Avocado with ice cream, its very very nice.. but I still like mine... hahaha!!!!
28th July part 2 ~ After Zoo.... We needed dinner.. Coz we only had bee hoon in the afternoon, 2 pack shared by 3 of us.. so well.. We were feeling hungry already...
So we took shuttle service back to Yishun and search for a bus to town.
Actually we are all so tired.. We went home late the night before, out so early in the morning and walked the whole day from 10am - 4pm, with little rest..
No wonder poor Xun knocked out soon we boarded the bus... Jus as naughty Sayuri n myself thought that we could quietly take pixs of him sleeping, Xun woke up... Sayuri and me kept laughing at him... Hes a bit paiseh(sorry la).. As soon as Sayuri and I finished taking photo together, we two also K.O.. We slept from Yishun to Bugis.. Too sleepy...
Sayuri chan had craving for Curry Fish Head, but Xun not tt keen...Coz..he will start to sweat like hell when he eat spicy food.
So we decide to go for something mild.. Chicken Rice!!(Sorry Eriy, I know u missed it alot..) We head for Soup Restaurant located at Suntec.
Since, Im in charge of ordering, so we had, Chicken of coz, sambal veggies, Steam fish and homemade Toufu.
The Chicken is quite good!!! But.. hermmm a little overprice though(tts of coz compare to Five Star Chicken rice which is also Yummy!!)
Sayuri chan and Xun were discussing where to go for dessert. And the day before, we suggested bringing Sayuri to eat durian, being a good sport, she agreed(though shes very scared...). We decided to go to the one at Bugis village. 
I knew of a stall there that sells durian and we could sit down n eat.
Sayuri had tried durian ice cream and durian pancake before, shes still not so scare of the smell. But D24 durian, once, freaked her out.
I went to order 2 durian, one sweet one bitter. Though only 2 durians, but there so much flesh that we are so so so FULL... And surprising to me, Sayuri ate 6 or 7 of them. Now durian to her, is acceptable. Though not at the super yummy range, but its, between, ok and oiishi.

28th July: While we were together the night b4, Ive asked xun if he want to join Sayuri chan n I to go to the Zoo.. Xun, Xiang, Miao n I had been talking for ages to go to the Zoo and Sentosa, but nv nv nv happen... Since Im had 1 extra free tix(coz it my bro in law's company's family day, he have a few extra), I asked Xun along.. 
Of coz la, my dear frd very ON one, said OK at once.
So we met at 10am at Yishun(coz bro in law company having free shuttle service from Yishun to Zoo..). So excited... I had not went to the Zoo for nearly 16 years. When We arrived, wah seh!!! So many ppl, of coz, many were from my bro in law's company.
Armed with a map, we went in and started searching n seeing around.. I saw many many animals that I never seen before. Didnt know theres such a pig too..
Next we walked and walked and saw, white TIGERS!!!! They are so so so pretty!!!! Theres 3 of them. And 1, pacing to n fro non stop.. It seems quite disturbed.. I dont know if its coz of the crowd... But well, at least we see them in action.. Hahahha..
The other 2, jus lazed there , seems getting ready for their beauty sleep....
Next... We went on the the Ballerina Hippo.. Though being big in size, but they are really so pretty. Theres a baby hippo... Jus born not long ago. The mummy hippo kept using its nose n push the baby hippo up to the surface of water... Maybe to help it breath ba.. I tik it shows one thg, mummy (most) will always protect its baby.
Ohhh woww... Why Sayuri san and I seated at the back of an Aussie nature park looking pickup truck?? Are we in Aussie??
Hahaha.. Nope!!! This is a corner set up by the Zoo, which had all sorts of animals from Aussie. Look, two Kangaroos!! And they are of different color!!!! Pretty Cool right?
Taking a look at the guide, oh, the elephant show is starting soon!!!!
Since we are nearby, we decided to go, and on the way to the performance stage, theres many "mini elephants". I tik they are so adorable!!!! Theres so many different style, some are sitting, some are lying down, some standing.. They are all so cute!! I cant resist them and decided to take a photo with it.. Hahaha... The elephants' show was awesome!! They show us how elephant does work in jungle last time and boy... They are strong.. No no.. Dont mess with them...

If you think its a rug, NAHHHH!!!! If you guessed its a Polar Bear, Ding ding... Correct!!! It jus lie down on the big rock and not moving.. ok ok... It does look like a rug, actually...
Hmmmmm... I cant remember the name of this name, but now looking at the photo... I tik.... It is a bit strange looking.....
Look at the fur.... It seems inner is white, and brown on the outside....
Awww... Looking at this cute little thing... Isnt it sweet.. Sleeping so soundly under a rock... But poor Xun trying to take its photo, had to try so hard...
Next, we saw Rhino... Theres a kid rhino with its mummy.. but the mummy butt is facing us...

Then theres Zebra eating their lunchie...
Next... Lions!!! They seems quite active... Can see that they are actually playing with each other...
And then... Its their snack time.. According to the Zoo keepers, lions are to be fed with their actual meals, every other day.. so this is like a snack to them.. Look at that chunk of meat.. SNACKK?? Too much for me....

Sayuri chan wanted to take pix with our Ah meng.. But Ah meng retire liao.. staying comfortable in her enclosure.. So we took pix with her grandchildren la.. Can see they busy eating cant be bother with us...
Then after I finish taking photo with them, I saw my SISTER!!! Shes here with her frds too... She came only at 12(started raining turn drizzle at 1), but we came around 10.. So, well.. at least, we get to see more... hahha.. Pai say la ah jie... who ask you not to come earlier...

Quite happy... Sayuri chan told us that shes amazed with our Zoo.
Its her first time here and its so much different from Most of the Japan's Zoo.
In Singapore, even though restricted but the animals enclosure is still consider big and good! In Japan, animals are still kept in cage. Of coz not small small one la.. But the enclosure is so much different from us. And she liked ours much much more!!!!
No wonder our Zoo had so much compliments from tourist.. Keep it up!!!
27th July - Mum asked me to eat "myself" for dinner, so I asked the gang if they r free. So end up only Xun, Sayuri and myself free. For no reason, Im craving for Claypot rice, so I asked them to if they are fine to meet at outram park, the famous claypot rice stall at Chinatown hawker center. Sayuri had been in Singapore for months but had yet tried Claypot rice, and Xun? He no idea this a famous stall.... So here we are, we ordered, fried kway tiao, fish head bee hoon, Claypot rice, soup and veggies to share.. Of coz, not to forget, desserts!!! We ordered peanut paste and almond paste from my favorite stall, "San Gu Tan Shui". Everything, nice, good, cheap, yummy!!!!!! 
But then hor... we are all too full, so we went for a slow walk from Outram to Clark quay. But none of us like night life, so we just brought Sayuri to have a look at Singapore popular hangout, and of coz, Xun too had not been here at night...(Sometimes I wonder... Is Xun staying in Singapore or not... hahaha!) Ive always heard ppl say C clinic, as I dont like pubs too, nv know what is it till then, when we walked past, oh..... its a pub design like a clinic!!!they have red color drinks dispensing from a bag looking as if its a blood transfusion bag. I dont know... Dont fancy this type of idea.. It is creative, but, I tik one could also find this scene in hospital, so....... They even have a surgery looking area. I jus get creeps...
We decide to settle ourselves at The Coffee Club!!! Hahahaha!!! We are all non drinkers, so very much prefer to sit down have coffee or tea...
As they are quite full house(though its 10pm), theres only this type of seats left... At first we are a bit uncomfortable... Worried might fall off anytime from the chair... hahhaa!!!! But well, quite fine after sometime. 
We ordered our drinks( we are still quite full from dinner), but it took such a long time to deliver to us. So I took out my phone and start taking pictures..
The back drop had nice colors and compliment the photos.
We tried taking all 3 of us together by ourselves, and its quite a pain actually...
Finally, we manage to take one after a few tries.
And FINALLY!!! our drinks arrived. As Xun and I had tea, we wanted a refill of hot water... But its so hard to get the servers attention as they are so busy... 
Xun wanted to learn japanese and start asking Sayuri how to say this n that. And asked how to pronounce hot water in Jap, and its TO-U. And he kept repeating... and even considering to tell the servers,TO-U. He so good at entertaining us.. hahaha.. But too bad la.. Xiang n Miao not here... Miao too busy with her project... and Xiang with rehearsal.....
Sayuri had been in Singapore for a few months, and since her birthday in July she spent it here in Singapore. Though her mum came to Singapore to keep her accompany for her birthday, Xun, Xiang and I decided to hold a mini dinner for her..
Well, first, we told her to meet us directly at the restaurant. Of coz, the reason is, so that we could go get a cake.
We worried that we might be too full(coz we are having buffet dinner). So, we went to Swissotel to get one cake for her and hurried to the restaurant.
We hide the cake in the paper bag, and when she arrived, Xiang and I pretended
to walk away to meet someone.. We hide in a corner and lit the candle. We arrange in a way, shes sitting facing back to us when we walked up
to her with the cake. She had a surprise!!! And could see, shes very
touched!!
After the dinner, we went to MOF(Ministry Of Food) to have dessert... Though we are very full... but usual me la... how can i resist dessert????
Its a Japanese restaurant with lots n lots of nice looking dessert. Ive never been here before. So we ordered one dessert each.. But since Im so full...
I could only order a drink, Green Tea milkshake..
Poor xun, ordered the Japanese red bean paste without knowing its a very very very sweet dessert... He had a hard time eating them... So we suggest him to put green tea in.. Hahahha.. Of coz he didnt la.... Could see that Sayuri and Xiang enjoyed theirs alot!!!!! Hahhaha....
Of coz, Happy Birthday Sayuri!!!!!! Hope you liked what we prepare for you!!!
I had attended 3 weddings within 3 weeks. on Average? 1 per wk!! Big hole in pocket(hahaha... kidding!).
First of all, my dearest cousin's wedding!
Had a surprised when he called me sometime in May and asked me to reserve 23rd June for him!! Sometime in Jan, he told me will only have chinese wedding maybe next yr or so(though they had already ROM last yr). So quite a surprised its so soon. My eldest cousin sister and I met up with the couple jus a few days before the wedding. And got a 2nd surprised. My sis in law is pregnant for 6 wks already and she only knew it before meeting us for dinner. This is so cool!
As they planned for a very simple wedding only my mum's side relative had been invited. Since its so simple, this two cute ppl, wear nice nice took a cab from their home to his dad's place. All were nagging at them that y didnt they informed us first.
Things had never been easy for two of them. Hes a born Singaporean and Shes from China(Engineer in a company here). As there are lots of negative news on China women, they had never been blessed by the adults. But my eldest cousin sis, my sis and I believed very much that they are truly in loved with each other.
Everytime when they are down and telling it out to us, we encouraged them to ignore others and must lead a happy life together since they are serious to each other. Personally, I liked her very much! Shes a nice and sweet lady.
Though not blessed, but this day, everyone(ok ok most) still came and gave them blessings. His parents, object the most at most, were then busily preparing steamboat for everyone.
During the tea ceremony, can see that the parents were happy. Even during the photo taking, see how my aunt's hand was on sis in law leg.
At night for dinner, its very simple too. Only 5 tables, my mum side taken up 4 and their frds, 1 table. Simple and easy.
We were running around taking photos, talking, yakking, joking etc etc.. This is the simplest yet nice wedding Ive been to so far.
Well, we did had the usual photo taking session at each table.

Next: We went to disturb the bride and groom. Of coz wanting the groom to carry the bride. My eldest cousin bro say, we ladies are waiting for the hand flower to be the next one to marry off, but we discussed secretly and said must be he wants to get married asap. So when the bride wants to throw to him, he ran away saying "Siao! I not a gal!!" We all roared into laughter!(This teach you not to bully us, bro!)
Theres a cute one, we all ladies taking photo and my cousin bro want to be in the picture and we pushed him away. It was captured on my eldest cousin's camera, but he never passed me that. Its so funny.

Usually wedding we get chocolates, etc as gift. But this cute couple, went and bought us this door gift. We all(including the adults) liked it so much coz its so cute!!( when you squeeze the tummy the eyes will popped out from the hole.. hahaha!) I got my lucky color, PINK!!!!
Well well, wedding over! Its just a ceremony, and their marriage life had just started.(Parental life soon too!!) Wish both of you all the best and hand in hand, walk on together!!!
Whats incomplete in a meal?? I dont know about you.. But its dessert or a nice sweet drink for me!!! (ok ok... tts y Im fat.. I knew that!)

Theres lots of different types of ice creams here in Singapore.. And usually ,if my friends and I are out for relaxing.. We would go for ice cream(of coz, when our stomach still have space for them..) If we are at tampines, we usually go for Hagen(No other place liao leh...).
If in town area, theres more choice ba...
So far my favorite is Japanese ice cream(not coz Im a Taka craze!!!!).
Coz I like soft cream, red beans, cocktail and etc at the side. Its not too thick and theres lots of nice fruits to go with.
I like Ajisen-ten dessert. Been there once with Sayuri chan and xiao mei san. We enjoyed it quite alot!!!
Next, CAKES(Jap pronounce as Ke-Ki)!!! Thats when my stomach still have lots of space!!! Then we get cakes to fill up the rest of the space!!!
I like the cakes at VivoCity. The Tiramisu is nice and the alcohol level suit me just nice. The other day. my team mate, Charlotte, gave me a Tiramisu, but its so strong, I gave my "Mama"(My biz manager) to finish it.. The alcohol was too strong...
The last picture was done by my auntie for my grandma birthday(yesterday). Its a durian cake!!!!! I lovveeeddd it!!!!!!! Durian cake!!!! I gave Sayuri chan to try durian pancake, she said it taste better than the fruit itself, coz if durian alone, the smell is too much for her.(But I tik the stronger to better leh!!!)
Well, of coz at times, my tummy will be at its brim... So, we then will go for something lighter.. Drinks!!! I prefer hot drinks to cold drinks.. I guessed it coz the shopping centers are always too cold!! So I prefer hot drinks to warm me up....
Today I had a very nice drink. Its a team timeout today and we had dinner at a Muslim Thai-Western cafe. The place serves nice food at a very reasonable price.
Towards the end of the meal, I ordered a GreenTea Chino. Its greentea with lots of milk(last pix). I like this drink.. But its a bit filling due to the milk... But its nice and its $3.20 for such a big cup... Worth it!!!
How many buddies you have? I have 3.. We knew each other for years.. Xun and Xiang with Miao and I total 11 yrs(till now) and Miao and me knew each other for 17 yrs(till now). Actually during our school time, we were not that closed. Xiang and I only got familiar with each other during secondary 3. Though Miao and I knew each other since primary 1, but as we were in different class, we had a on off relationship.. Hahahha... Xun? Well, also only during recent years.
Let me talked about them(hope they wont kill me).... Let me start from Xun..
Ah Xun: Though we were in the same class during Sec 1 and 2, but we hardly hanged around together much.. Rather, I was engrossed mixing around with other class.
I remembered him getting angry only once.. That was the time when we dirtied his sis's UNO cards(coz we were playing "Heart attack" game) and hes worried getting scolding from his sister.. We felt so guilty about it. But, thats the only time he got angry... Hes a nice fellow whom helped others alot. He and I will make the best craps together and Miao will shake her head and Xiang will rolled his eyes.. Hahaha.... He helped me alot during my final year project and Im so grateful to his help.. If not I think I will die there... We even went for our graduation ceremony together.
We gave him a nickname, Stuck up, coz he never reply sms or answer his phone call. But later he was upgraded to Stuck up 1, coz theres a new Stuck up member that join him, and tt person is..... Xiang!
Ah Xiang: He and I were in the same class from Sec 1 till 4. I still remember his nickname in Sec 1, Ren niang. I cant recall who gave him this name, but reason, he looked like the actor in the "Golden Pillow" which was a hot show then. Eriy till now still remember this nickname and reminded me(I sort of forgotten about it). Anyway, I got familiar with him during Sec 3 and 4. At that time I start calling him big brother. Dont know y, but hes always there helping and protecting me. (If he see this, he will say, "is it?")
Anyway, he was there to listen to me and be there for me during my depression period. Till now, Im still grateful to him during tt period of time, for all my late night calls and coming to meet me(At 11pm or even once at 1am) when he knew I didnt sound good. I remembered once, I was feeling down out of a sudden and he met me at around 11pm, bringing packets of tissue and telling his mum, hes going for supper, having chicken wings so need tissues.(I was laughing and crying when he told me that). Well, now that I recovered, whenever I call him, he knew its for gossip chat.. hahha!! But as he started to get busy with his studies, he followed Xun footstep, rejecting our group meetup.. So we called him, Stuck up 2!
Miao meow: Ah ha.. This gal gal ya.. Well.. our history dragged all the way back to 17 years ago. Pri 1, new school, new term. I was queuing up at the canteen when I heard someone crying. A gal hanging on to an adult crying. She was then placed beside me. Thats how we knew each other. Day in and out we were together till our teacher want to separate us coz we two too sticky. Chatting on the phone after school made the adults upset. Pri 2, my parents requested from the school to let me go for the morning session. I thought, "oh no.. Im going to be so new in a class." Day 1 of the school, I saw a familiar face, MIAO!!! Her parents transferred her to morning session as well.. So here we are same class again and sticky again.
Pri 3 till 6, we were separated. Though we both are prefects, but not tt sticky. Sec 1 registration, saw a familiar face sitting behind me, Vincent Wong(We were schoolmates during pri school). Haizz I thought.. Then someone came up to me and "OIE!" There she is again!!! whenever I thought I be alone in a new place, this face appeared.. MIAO! Shes in the same school same class as me!! So things went on from then and we started to go out together and yak yak yak...
Though we less sticky, but still know each other little thgs here n there, and I was touched when she said, "I knew that you will know me the best, even if you dont say anything, you actually knew it".
We started going out for, visiting Mdm Seah during chinese new yr, lunch, dinner, drinks, yak...
And what I was very touched, today Im supposed to be int he hospital for an operation, Ah xiang and Ah xun, woke up early and accompanied me to the hospital and Miao miao later asked me how was it. Thanks buddies.
Finally have a bit of time to blog.. Well, the latest show Ive watched(twice), was The Phantom of the Opera. The first time I came to know this show was the time when the first came to Singapore(more than 10 yrs ago). At that time, my sis's frd bought for her the T-Shirt and I was attracted to it by the mask on the shirt. For then on,I kept wanting to watch this show badly. I dont know know why, but jus felt attracted to it.
Never had a chance to watch as, at that point of time my parents felt Im so young, wont know how to appreciate.
June 2004, My taka buddies and I went to Japan for holiday and of coz, Takarazuka as our most impt stop. Happened that, The Phantom show was played by Sora Gumi. Through my manager's frd(helped us to queue for hours) got the tickets for us!We so excited and went to watch. This version of Phantom we watched is written by Arthur Kopit. Story is different from The Phantom of the Opera. In this version, The Phantom, Phantom lead a slightly better life than the phantom in The Phantom of the Opera.
Lets compare the 3 main characters of the two show:
Phantom
Andrew version: Phantom, abandon by his parents, grew up in circus freak before he escape and stayed underground of the opera house. Hes very lonely, and when Christine appears in his life, he claims hes the Angel of the music sent by her dead father to guide her through the mirror. Teaching her lesson and not letting her see him till Raoul appears. He was upset when Christine and Raoul progressed in their love of each other and forced Christine to his underground world and wanted to make her his bride. But eventually. he let her go when she kissed him on the account on trying to save Raoul.
Arthur version: This Phantom though disfigured since birth, but was tenderly loved by his mother. When mother past away. his father,Carriere(whom at first could not take the fact that his child is disfigured and went away), came back pretended to be an uncle and took care of him. He nv knew his face was disfigured till one day playing by the lake and saw his own reflection. Carriere gave him a mask to cover his face and he stayed underground of the Opera house(which Carriere is the manager.) Hes yearning for good voice and heard no good voice in the opera house, till Christine joined and he accidentally heard her sing. He gave her lessons and tenderly cared for her.
When he left his underground to get Christine back(after she saw his face and ran away). He was injured and Carriere tried to get him to safety. He asked Carriere,did he loved his mother? Is he his father?
Carriere said yes, and phantom said he had the feeling tt he is so. When they were caught up with the police, phantom had the feared of being caught into the circus, phantom called out to Carriere and he was shot dead by Carriere. Before he died, Christine gave him a kissed and he died with a smile on his face.
Christine:
Andrew Version: Christine was very attached to her father and when her father passed away, he promised her to send an Angel to teach her sing. She was actually a dancer of the Opera House.
She knew Raoul since young but only reunited when she had her first singing appearance at the Opera house and Raoul happened to be there for the show. She always thought Phantom was the Angel that her father sent. Shes in loved with Raoul and was afraid of Phantom. Asking Raoul to help her escape angers the Phantom and he caught her back into his world of darkness. Towards Phantom. she felt scared and no love feeling. When she sees Raoul is facing death by Phantom. she plucked up her courage and kissed Phantom. Though they were let free, but she talked frequently of him.
Arthur Version: Christine was actually a simple street gal that sells lyrics on the streets and of coz well liked by the people. One day, selling the new music score, Melody, Raoul passed by and heard her sing. Amazed by her voice, he gave her a name card and asked her to go to the Opera House to find the manager, Carriere, to get her a role to sing. So excited,she went. But Carriere had been sacked and the new owner's lover, commanded her to do work backstage.But she dont mind. She was singing to herself how happy she is to be in the Opera house and the Phantom heard her sing. She started taking lessons from him and soon theres a competition to see who can be the lead singer of the Opera house. She met Raoul again and he pushed her to compete with the Diva, Carlotta. Everyone felt so amazed with her voice and sang along with her.
Raoul later expressed his love to her, but she rejected him. She was given the contract to performed the next show only to be sabotage by Carlotta and she could not sing. Phantom brought her away from the stage and to his underground when he realise Carlotta wants to hurt her.
She met Carriere at the underground and when she heard Phantom's story, shes determined to prove to Phantom that shes not afraid by his looks. But she ran away in shocked when she saw his face(this part is weird! she told him to show her, then ran away!) When Phantom was caught. she tried to stop everyone from hurting him. When he was shot, she ran and hugged him, took down his mask and kissed his face. She was sad that he died and she loves him(i tik).
Raoul:
Andrew Version: Raoul knew Christine when they were young and hes determined to get her away from Phantom. He expressed his love to her and Christine being in love with Raoul accepted it of coz. They were secretly engaged coz Christine is worried it might anger Phantom but he wanted badly to tell the world. When Phantom appears again and forcing the managers to follow his script, Raoul planned to catch "this friend". But Raoul planned failed and angered Phantom. When Phantom abducts Christine to his underground, he followed and determined to save Christine at the cost of his life. He urged Phantom not to be self absorbed to force Christine in lying that she love Phantom. After Phantom let them go, he and Christine went away from the Opera house and got married.
Arthur Version: (yeahhhh my aran!!) Ok. this Raoul... A little playboy at first, whenever he sees cute young gals, maybe dancing is good, cute smile etc, he will give his namecard and ask them to go try the Opera House(Carriere will accept them all... Faint). Same as the other version, hes the regular patron of the Opera House, but different, hes not Christine childhood sweetheart. They dont know each other till he heard her sing on the street. He fell in love with her when they met the 2nd time during the competition. He expressed his love to her, but she rejected him. When Christine went missing with the Phantom, he felt lost and determined to save her, but dont know how and where she is. 
When Phantom appears injured, he tried to capture him but instead, Phantom caught him and tried to strangle him. Christine cries out begging Phantom not to kill anymore.
Raoul free himself and when Phantom was shot by Carriere, upon seeing how sad Christine was, he then realised the reason for her rejecting him. She loved Phantom more.
Not wanting to upset her, he stood behind her quiet, to give her the emotion support while she grieves over the death of Phantom. And he walked away quietly.
Conclusion: Both version have their unique side and its hard to say which is better. Of coz I think the Phantom in Arthur version is less "crazy".
But I think both displayed their special point and worth a A* for the story and effort.
Every year without fail, few of us will visit our Sec sch teacher, Mdm Seah, during Chinese new year. This photo was taken some yrs back..
But as time goes by, this 2-3 yrs, it had been standard, Hon wai, ah xun, ah xiang, ah miao n me... N also standard, we, always late due to unforeseen situations(Hahaha.. excuses).
Ok, this yr, we made a point to be on time, reach at 1pm.. Being the auntie me, nag n nag n nag at all the regulars latecomers to be on time..
Luckily everyone was on time.. But the bus was late!!! We waited nearly 30 mins for the only bus tt goes to Mdm Seah's place.
Since we got nothing to do, ah xiang took out his camera n start snapping away.But its so hot and we are grumbling why the bus not here..Finally we saw the bus after 30 mins of wait.. AIR CON!!!! Eh.but the bus driver super grouchy.He was late but yet still blaming the passengers for alighting slow la etc.He drove so fast in the small lanes tt I tik its dangerous driving...
Any way.. Finally we've reached... Mdm Seah and her mum prepared lunch for us.. She said its simple lunch, but we thought no, she must had spent quite a bit of time preparing for us... I always loved her yu sheng. Coz she always have a lot of fruits in it... Yummy... Everyone was hungry due to the long journey traveled and couldnt wait to tuck in...
Hey, know wat we spotted? Every year, we cracked our brains on wat to buy for Mdm Seah when visiting her.. This yr miao suggested hamper but then again but thougths, we thought it wasnt much worth it... Then we notice from a gift website and thought, y not get this.. So we ordered through online and get them to deliver for us.. On the card, we signed off as, from 4 pigs and half pig-dog(xiang). Coz we are born in yr of pig and this is the yr of pig, so this gift seems quite appropriate.
After yakking for hrs.. Its time to say goodbye..And of coz also, Mdm Seah's relatives came for visit, we thought we shall make a move for them then....

This yr is the Year of Boar(pig means pig la!!)
For the 1st time, my Reunion Dinner taken place outside the house.. For all the 23 yrs, it always been at home with my parents having steamboat. But this yr. my uncle(from my mum side) suggest that all shall eat together for CNY's eve..
Of coz, all the aunties agreed coz they wont have to be so busy preparing dinner individually.
So, here we are at the restaurant waiting for dinner... Wah sei!!! Didnt know so many ppl have their dinner out... The restaurant can hold up to 1500pax and, they r fully booked with turned around 1once already... Usually my mum's side, we will have to book 3 tables, but as this yr my sis n bro in law couldnt make it, as well as my 2nd uncle's family, so we only had 2 tables, one for the adults, one for the "kids"(the usual). But i thought tt was pretty good as its easier to go ard to yak..
Dont know everyone crazy bot photography or wat.. 24 of us but there are 7 cameras... Hai yo.. all keep taking n taking.. So u can see from my photos posted, everyone is looking at different directions, coz so many ppl taking at the same time!!

My mum's family had an agreement about 3 yrs ago tt we "kids" wont be getting any more ang bao from them as we all had grown up(except for one) and earning more than them.. Haha.. We, "kids" cant protest either... But our dearest uncle, decided to keep the "custom" of CNY, and give us "kids" ang bao.. So we, "kids", all went over together to the adults' table and thank our uncle..
